Nathaniel Dodson, Esq.  advises clients on matters related to securities, financing, real estate, opportunity zones, and M&A. Prior to his law practice, Nate was a former investment broker and advisor providing a level of knowledge and experience in investment sales, structures, and asset protection. Through leveraging his expertise in the industry along with the help from his long list of trusted connections, Nathaniel has represented over $2 Billion in real estate and business funding transactions. Mr. Dodson received his bachelor’s in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego. He is currently a member of the Nevada and Texas State Bars.

When Nate is not in the office, you can find him playing golf, running, biking, or traveling with the family.

Richard Robinette, Esq. brings his experience as both an attorney and real estate entrepreneur to the practice as a partner at Dodson Robinette PLLC. He advises clients on securities offerings, business entities, and real estate transactions with a mix of private equity, agency, and non-agency financing. Richard graduated cum laude from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. He served as an extern for Hon. George H. Wu, United States District Court, Central District of California in 2009 and 2010 and is currently a member of the Texas State Bar.

When not working, Richard likes to spend his time immersed in a good board game or cooking a large meal for his family and friends.

Jesus Velasquez, Esq. focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, private securities offerings, and business matters. He represents both sellers and purchasers on all types of real estate transactions, including raw land, office complexes, retail centers, and multifamily properties. Jesus is also regularly involved in lease negotiations on behalf of both landlords and tenants, and often represents borrowers in financing transactions for real estate. He also advises clients on the creation of private securities offerings and business entities. In addition, Jesus represents clients in general business transactions involving contracts.

Jesus received his Juris Doctorate from the SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. Outside of the office, he is most likely to be found travelling, playing soccer, snow skiing in the rockies, or playing with his dogs.

Jeff McConnell, Esq. is a valued attorney at Dodson Robinette PLLC. He is a California licensed attorney. Jeff advises clients on matters related to crowdfunding, syndications, commercial real estate transactions, and securities laws.

Prior to joining Crowdfunding Lawyers, he worked as in-house counsel for a small online business. Jeffrey also owned his own general practice law firm in California for four years and worked in the wireless industry, negotiating leases and obtaining entitlements for wireless facilities for the major wireless companies.

Jeff graduated from Chapman University School of Law with an emphasis in advocacy and dispute resolution in 2009.

Jonathan Sabo, Esq. advises clients on securities offerings, business entities, syndication, employment law, and overall litigation risk mitigation. Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, after which he clerked for Hon. Ronald Gould, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Building on an internship with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Jonathan worked as a securities litigator for four years at a major New York law firm. He is a member of the New York and Washington State Bars.

When not in the office, Jonathan can be found playing board games, building things with his children, and nerding out about naval history.

Clemen Cunningham is the Office Manager for Dodson Robinette PLLC. She brings over 22 years of administrative experience to the firm. She is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative functions that allow the firm to operate smoothly and efficiently. Clemen is also responsible for organizing new companies for clients as well as assisting in handling client inquiries. She studied at California State University, Chico where she received her BA in Liberal Studies.

Clemen was raised in Live Oak, CA. Away from work, Clemen enjoys spending time with her two teenage children, reading, cooking/baking, and volunteering at her children’s schools.
